hi! new member turbo issues

hi all, ive just swapped my 306gti6 for a 406 turbo (petrol) the car runs fine no smoke, sounds sweet but ive got no turbo at all. can anyone help me?? any suggestions would be great.

Hi & welcome to the forum (madhouse) ,
Your car could be three or four things,
1. electro valve found on the bulkhead somewhere failed or faulty.
2. vac pipe leak / split.
3. actuator failed.
4. seized turbo , not unheard of on these cars.
If you can take off the inlet pipe on the turbo & grab the impeller shaft with your thumb & forfinger then try & spin it this'll tell you if it's seized or not .

Thanks for your help! Did what you said and it turns out turbo is seized solid. Time for a big tear down.
