Hi All,
After swearing blind I'd never own another pug I'm back although with a 110hdi 1.6 307sw this time. Seeing as you guys are such a knowledgeable and friendly bunch I thought I'd come back on here.
Regards
Ollie
P.S. What is it about the 1.6 that seems to have people closing the shutters and reaching for the nearest religious symbol to ward off evil:shock:

Re: Back Again (Well Sort Of)
Hi Ollie, welcome back
It depends which 1.6 HDi it is - if it's a PSA one then, apart from the dodgy dipstick, there's no real problem. The trouble is it could also be the Ford DV6 (yeah, ok, jointly developed with PSA) then they are indeed problematic. Start here - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=21121&hilit=dld&start=60#p211958

Thanks,
Would I be correct in saying the dv6 is found in later models and as mine is a 54 plate it should be a psa? I did notice the dipstick when I bought the car and have to say my first thought was what poxy pos that is
