thanks all, me having few probs with my 406 1997cc executive estate post in moderaters new on here don't know how to get posted here so they are read by you kind users.
me had 406 for a month 3 years ago for a month loved it but it was old and tatty so sold it but i love them.
bought this one last week of bad E-Bay seller got few probs, he said great car ,superb ,just been serviced,great lie,had it a week so far cost me £238 in repairs and still in garage having brakes and glow plugs done,another £120..Now found out something wrong with turbo charger.... :( but other probs are as follows can anyone help?????
boot light wont come on on opening ,switch,bulb,fuse OK
curtersy light won't come on when opening doors but work OK on switches ( switch in right position )...
display panel dull can't read very well changed bulbs and holders...
day and date will not stay in memory after ignition off more than ten minuets reverts back to zero..but saves language,hr format,temp, OK
