Peugeot 406 V6 owner from Honduras

Post by 406Honduras »

Greetings from Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, located in Central America, and very nice to meet all Board and forum members. My name is Daniel, I am proud owner of a 1998 406 V6 ESJ94. I bought my Pug second hand about 3 months ago, and I am currently starting to restore the car to its original factory default settings, meaning, when I purchased the car, it was not in mint condition, but it was running ok (i.e. engine, brakes, transmission, etc.) Over the next few weeks I will posting some pictures so you can get to know my newest adquisition. Its "de sebres bleu" colour with black leather interior. I have ordered original peugeot exhaust system, and some other minor accesories that were not in good state when I purchased the car.

FYI, I had owned in the past, around 4 years ago, another 406 V6, year 2000 which I was forced to sell, because I had serious problems with its braking system, I almost crashed, but made it out safe and alive. I actually posted a video on youtube, which I am sharing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ0ZcTwA9TE

In this video, I guess I maxed out the V6's maximum speed, which I am assuming the car was running at 235 km/h, but the 205/50 R 15 tyres I had mounted at the time, fooled the odo into displaying I was doing nearly 250 km/h. It was such a thrill.

Thank you very much, and nice hope I can become an active member, and participate frequently.

Cheers,

Daniel
