DB Clean Up

Post by nick »

I'm going to be cleaning up the server, some old files, some database upgrades tonight...

I'm keeping an eye on the online users, and as soon as everyone pops off, ill start the work..

IT shouldn't take any more than a couple of hours, and hopefully no one will notice.

I'll try and hold off until the end of the night to stop any major disruption..

Nick, would it be easier if we all bugger off by a certain time? I'd hate to think of you falling asleep at your keyboard just 'cos Pyggy, Teamy and Wiggy decide to have a late night bolox talking session....

I'm no expert but it seems that since moving the server it has somehow opened the gates for spammers :?

Now we're being offered kung-fu instead of WoW :frown:

Do they have a list of specific pages on various sites that they know will piss people off the most if they post on them?

Come on Nick & Niz, get the virtual fly swat out.

kind of ironic that they post that garbage in a DB clean-up thread!

I've taken to looking at who was the last to post on a thread (in the view new threads) and if theres lots by the same person (apart from Welton and Steve that is :) ) i don't bother looking at them.
