Problem sending PM?

Post by Captain Jack »

Hi,

I am trying to send a PM to "nivek" for some boot decals but instead of being sent, they end up in "Outbox" folder and not in "Sent" as per normal.... any ideas?

Messages always sit in "Outbox" until the message is read by its recipient. At this point it goes into your "Sent" folder.

This is supposed to allow you to edit a message that you've already sent before the recipient reads it.

Ooohh I seeeeee. Thanks guys, looks like he has just not read my messages or the inbox is full. Will try the email option - unless someone has those boot decals for the boot lock? I lost mine during the recent move as I never fitted it :(

a few people said about these decals being not upto scratch so i unfortunately will not be recommending them (sorry)

anyway, me myself bought one and the resin weathered very badly after a few months and the shiney surface of it went all white and not so shiney .. and looked horrible

(wish i'd taken a pic now before that car got scrapped)

sorry nivek just my opinion

CJ pay the extra money and buy a genuine badge from delears. around £25 if i remember which is what i'll be doing for my new D8 8)

Great - thanks for the tip! Is the genuine one a stick on as well or have to change the whole lock?

you have to remove the lock to replace it yes because its held on with screws inside. its a very easy job.
the original lock will fit onto the new badge

I do wish people would refrain from calling dealers "stealers", it's not clever and it's not funny. Please refrain from this practice and either refer to them as dealers or alternatively, licensed, franchised ferking rip-off merchants. Thankyou for you attention.
