Just refresh the page, that was caused by one character in an ip blocking list, should all be fine now.

I'm now looking at upgrading the Wiki version so it might go offline for a short time.

Yup, that error is because the instructions contradicted themselves
Now rolling back then setting install in a new folder

Wiki is currently down, have the update working on a test page, I need to install another couple of extensions but now have to go on a call at work, be back at my desk to finish up in a bit!

Ok, wiki is back up, upgraded to latest version of MediaWiki, couple of little things to fix and add but 'should' be fully functional, and hopefully a lot more spam free from now on, still going to add some checks in to stop spammed user creation in a bit.

Be careful with that page, it can be somewhat misleading concerning 406 paint codes. I used it to get some codes to start the page off with, but then found conflicting information from other sources (including 406 owners on these forums!) Could be the info on the site is wrong, but also Peugeot's paint codes never were consistent, which doesn't help.

Sorry if I'm teaching my grandmother to suck eggs, but is MaxClients < RamInMachine / SizeOfAnApacheProcess ?

I saved a lot of memory on an apache/php site by using fastCGI.
It worked because my site was mostly static content, so removing php from the apache process made apache much smaller meaning that more apache processes could run and so serve more requests.
