Not sure if I'm having a senior moment here, but I can't seem to upload a new avatar.

You can't really upload anything on here but rather 'link' to an off site host thing like botofucket. That's what I do innit. If that's what you meant?

Sorry, I meant entering a url - link to photobucket, (as I think everyone does).
Odd thing is, I'm trying the same process as previously, to an image I've used before as an avatar and it still wont let me?????

Sorted! Thanks, Steve - it was the numbers at the end. 
Up to now, I've right-clicked the pic in photobucket, selected properties & copied the url / pasted it on the forum.
I note that now there's a pop-up box with various properties, including one called 'direct link', which does wot it sez on the tin.
Oh well, sorted now and just in time for xmas.
