Re: How many forum users still actually drive a 406
There's still a few of us stalwarts left........
I suppose one day, when I can no longer handle the sheer comfort and effortless performance, I too may look elsewhere. Until then, I have resolved to steadfastly endure the crippling depreciation, ruinous running costs and severe abdominal pain that laughing nearly every journey inflicts on a person. Someone has to do it.

I drove mine a few weeks back, reversed it out of the garage, then drove it back in again....

Well we're getting into the end-game now. Dai's and Doggy's immaculate motors are the exception rather than the norm. If mine went bang tomorrow then I'd have another, but it would be a £500 job and with so many around then unless it's immaculate the only economic thing to do is run it till it dropsplod wrote:Worse thing it's only down the road, and the b'stard doesn't look like he's taking care of her

I drive mine daily.
Re: How many forum users still actually drive a 406
Mine has worked her ass off this week, done 1000 miles faultlessly and passed the mot so I'm treating her to a service and some new sussy parts this week.
Back to the 100 fuel burning miles around town this week.... Gad damnit 500 miles at 58mpg is far less depressing than the 35 to 40mpg i see around here i fecking hate hills.
