I like ours because it's farily clear what each of them means, and they're big enough to see easily, and there isn't too many.

It might not be straightforward to remove smilies: what do you do with posts where they're used?

I suppose you can replace and in all posts with '?' resp. '!'.

You're right about the Volvoforum ones Welly, they're awful. It's virtually impossible to find suitable ones.

not sure what the admin ucp is like on here but everything else seems like the old football forum i used to run and on there we just added the extra smilies and it created another page for them.
