Compared to brin-to-brim calculation, the average efficiency reading on my 406's trip computer is:

Trip computer accuracy

How accurate is the efficiency reading on your 406's trip computer compared to what you work out by brim-to-brim filling?

Does it always under-estimate the truth? Or does it always over-estimate the truth? Or does it just do whatever takes its fancy?

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

None of the above :arrowu: I worked it out for quite a few tank fulls but it was always more-or-less right - sometimes over, sometimes under, but nothing worth worrying about.

Ooops, I didn't see that before :oops: More accurate to with a few tenths of a litre but I guess so.
