When I was buying mine, the fact that it hasn't got one was a plus point for me. One less thing to leak or go wrong.

I used to have one on my old Clio, and used it only very occasionally (this is Scotland, after all), mostly to compensate for the cars' complete lack of air conditioning.

My Clio also had manual window winders all round, for that retro look.

Don't really use it but nice to let the sunlight in sometimes.

If I had one.... I used the one in the D8 and I miss it in the '9. I wouldn't be using it now of course.

Only ever opened it to check I'd unblocked the soddin drains properly. :evil:

Defo one of those must-haves, like motorbike ashtrays. :roll:

ah yes the motorbike ashtray the ideal solution for any motorcyclist who has it all. But a sunroof isnt that bad.

dont have 1 in my D8 but glad i havnt

all my other sunroofs on previous cars have leaked water so better without

anyway you dont need 1 these days air con is much better

The answer is, not really :) . It's a novelty to let a bit of air and light in but the climate is so good that I never need it.

mine has leaked, i fixed the leak, i enjoyed it during the summer, kept it open when the car was parked to prevent the oven effect.

windows do same thing for me when stationary

i leave the windows open till the aircon has cooled all the dash down and finally blows fridge fresh

True, I think a pan roof would be top dollar though
If I move away from 406's, then a 407 SW HDi with pan roof would be towards the top of choices
