Speckled Hen, Abbot or Old Peculiar. Mind you I'll drink most ales! Just keep the lager away!
Also can't beat scotch & ginger ale or JD & coke. If I get hold of a bottle of Glenmorangie that's got to be drunk straight up!

I don't like lager either but I will go for the occasional bottled lager. Mostly I drink Guinness, I like Brains Dark alot but not many pubs sell it outside Cardiff. In the summer I'll partake of the odd cider. I also enjoy a glass of red.

That makes me sound like a right pisshead but actually I hardly drink at all.

By Day = Tea

By Night = Stella

Need to cut down on Beer tbh, my recycling bin tells me I drink too much. Maybe another best-intended 'new years resolution' is on the cards :|

I am also a tee-totaller. No alcohol for me. Not that I'm against drinking the stuff, or want it banned, or think it's "devil's stuff" or whatever. I just don't like the taste of any of the stuff I tried, and I hate the feeling of getting drunk - I hate losing any kind of control over my own faculties, thankyouverymuch.

At my stag do, I was pretty much forced into downing Apple Sours. For one thing, YUCK. And for the other - I walked out of the bar and I really struggled to walk in a straight line, and I really hated that feeling. So I just walked home; stuff that "getting drunk for the sake of getting drunk" nonsense. Still don't understand why it's so popular to drink til you vomit. I don't know and I don't want to know.

Yes, I really am a Scottish person who doesn't drink :D

I agree fella, I don't get why people think spending a packet on getting pissed, having a fight, spewing and then having to spend the next day in bed with a hangover, unable to remember anything, is a good time. I'll have a couple of drinks socially but haven't been drunk for nearly 10 years, i just don't like it. I still find it quite difficult to come up with excuses to avoid the social gatherings though, especially this time of year  .
