What about "either"? I suppose a solid one is less likely to break if you hit a curb with it.

I think the vented splitter would look better on a D8. Your D9 would look top with a standard one. Nice estate BTW

Who, me?

Short answer is "whatever's available in the scrappy"

The vents do compliment the foggies nicely but I personally reckon the solid one would look better :supafrisk:

Makes a nice snowplough too! 8)

And just for Welly, here's Willie waving

Well waved there.

I think one should consider the effects of drag with the splitter, afterall the car has to push the (greater) front end through the air....[pedant].

The vented ones are made of rubber and are very flexible. Mine catches on ramps in garages and kerbs when parking but doesn't mark the splitter and it just bounces back. Mine was a whole £6 or something from a local scrappers. Personally I prefer the look of the vented one, but it's up to you.

Depends how funny you are about using self tappers into the bumper, I know some people don't like that sort of thing but they're underneath so no probs :cheesy: . Mostly stainless self tappers and cup washers, at the edges I removed the bolts for the arch liner and refitted them through the splitter. Most difficult bit is lining it up right
