Now for the rears.
Again similar procedures as my thread on the from arms but on these one needs to be careful
regarding tracking etc.
Phone Camera pictures so apologies on the quality front.
Again I started YESTERDAY by soaking all the nuts in WD40 and wire bruxhing as best I could.
The fear with these is the bolt which goes through the inner bush seizes to the bush itself
I once had to get the grinder involved on a previous D8 which was tricky!
First of all we get the tippex and mark up the position for reassembly.

I dont want a repeat of this!

Two 16mm spanners/sockets needed.
The fuel inlet pipe runs differently to a D8 and gets in the way BUT doesnt
get in the way of the antiroll bar bush so swings and roudabouts!

Old link off.the outer nut was really solid but got there eventually
Not the difference in quality on the QH link arm with thicker outer balljoint and better boot.

Fortunately the bush bolts were free so they popped out easily.
Generally the groove on the bolt is uppermost and tilted slightly towards the outside of the car
Should you forget or lose your markings.

Plenty of copper grease on all the threads again as the muck and water that gets thrown up up in this area
is phenomenal so after cleaning up all the bolts with a wire brush I was sorted.
Regards,
Tony
