induction kit

hi could anyone tell me if it safe to put a induction kit on your car as i have heard it can damage your engine on pugs i have a 1.8 d9

well they often filter the air less well than the OEM filter, and nearly all of the things result in hot air being taken into the engine reducing performance and economy as well as causing over-fuelling. Ever wonder why they're not fitted to high performance cars?

thamks and do you know if the [anel filters by the same company will be okto fit and will they give me a bit more bhp

Very minimal increase if any. In some cases, it can be more restrictive than standard. They work best with additional modifications, but with a standard setup nothing noticable, although you will get an increase in induction noise... depends what you want really
