Evening all. I have a problem removing the rear top link, the one with the ball joint at one end and a bush at the other.
The bolt that passes through the sleeve in the bush is siezed solid and i can't remove it. I've tried penetrating oil, hitting end of bolt, and even had a joint splitter on it to try and shift it but no joy. Any one else had this problem or any ideas how to shift this bolt? Thanks all.

Angle grinder through the middle of it, then twist the end out with the bolt head on and hammer out the other side. That's one way to do it, but as you will come to realise, I do like to butcher things!

Hi,

Yes I had to get the angle grinder on it....you just have to sometimes.
Then...copper grease all the nuts and bolts on refitting as, like I have to, they'll need doing again fairly soon.

When i did mine i managed to get the torx bit to twist all its splines round (Draper expert  )
i went to halfrauds and got a set of pro quality 1/2 drive torx drivers these managed to release the thread enough to cut through the bolt ,pain in the ar*e job but so much quieter -no more knocks from the rear end
