Had an 01 110 with 130000+ on the clock and a `loose` engine ,very pleased with it 50mpg and fast ,have now upgraded to an 03 rapier 90 with 63000 on the clock ,expected it to be slower and see on paper the 90 developes its torque a little higher up the rev range ,but have noticed it seems quite flat below 2000rpm ,cruises fine but round town low speed pick up isnt as good as i expected ,have given it a c service with all new filters and a can of forte fluid in the tank ,mot today showed emissions at 0.8 lm so is running clean ,is this how the 90`s are ?or could i be looking at changing the airflow meter ? your comments would be much appreciated.

The performance of the HDi 90 is reputed to be glacial, as Puggy says get it remapped, you'll get the same sort of performance as a 110 with a lot less to go wrong...
