What rad fans

hey all.....
i have a 406 ecsecutive 2.0 turbo petrol on a p plate
just havin a prob with rad fans,
they not working lol the car over heats when idaling but its cool when on long run
i i know its the rad fans that are broke so can any 1 sugest a cheap place to get some and i forgot to look if they if they were the 3 fixing screws and 2 termanal 1s can any 1 help lol

There were some posts on this recently, I think by Johnfoss.
They are not cheap, you'd be better off getting a pair from a breakers. One of mine has failed, I've got to get down the scrappy. Mine's a P-reg tubby too.

Just did mine the other day on my V6, managed to get a set of fans off ebay for £60. I think that the stealer quoted me £80 each + VAT................lol
It's not a hard job to do just be ready for some pain against the condenser.
Are you sure it's the fans, could be the bitron unit, relays or temp sender. I have a spare set of relays if you want them to try

hey thanks for post .....
are the fans specific to 2.0 turbos cuz i can get the fans with 3 fixings with 2 terminals for £19.50+ v.a.t other wise its going to be £83.50+ from dealer any ideas

No idea, sorry........i would have thought that all the 406's with a/c would have used the same 2 fan system. I supposed if you could wire it correctly then any car fan would work.
My fans had a single multi plug to each
