Ha, just stumbled across my old post from 2011 - that old Pug reached 330k before I scrapped it (body rusting away, still running fine) and bought a "new" one with 230k on the clock, immaculate exec model, £500 bargain :cheesy:

I've had my 2003 110 hdi S estate for a year now after my trusted 1999 GLX hit a deer. I've smartened the new girl up a bit with electric leather seats and interior, auto dimming mirror etc. from an executive scrapper. Just had a new clutch, rear brakes and suchlike that cost more then I paid for the car but with only 140k on the beautiful white dials-she's a keeper.
Got home from a 600 mile round trip in one day today and she never missed a heartbeat. I could still get out and walk ok as well, which I've never experienced before with other cars. :cheesy:

My GLX Hdi estate has now done 206k, fitted a new cam belt last year at 180 something K. Never had a serious problem in the three years I have had it. Not bad for a car that I bought for 400 pounds for (sorry pounds sign wont work).
