Hi,
I own a phase 1 1999 406 1.8i with about 70k on the clock.
There aren't any modifications, but I want install a K&N filter, even thou I'm not sure it's worth it. Well is it?
What are your recommendations. How much power will the car gain, and how will it change fuel consumption / economy.
Also, I am thinking of getting rind of catalyst converter. Any comments regarding that?
Thanks!

Re: D8 1.8 K&N Filter
you will loose power and get poo fuel economy, all they doo is make a bwaaarp sort noise when you accelerate, as for removing the cat you will loose a lot of low down torque and also its illegal, if you get a roadside inspection by VOSA you will be in serious shite
