you got a D8 and before you write off the turbo have you checked all
the pipes to see if one as come off or if any have split because either will
result in big power loss.....

burst intercoolers are also very common
your car is a D8 with the DHX engine, also check that the small rubber pipe that goes from the injection pump to the top plastic intercooler hose hasnt popped off as this is quite common too
