Had the freewheel alternator pulley replaced today and that made a really big difference on the judder. It is still there but I don't notice it as much as before.
Perhaps there are other pulleys with vibration dampers that are failing.

Another ting I noticed is that when I started and stopped the Diesel engine, it shocked violently. But after I replaced the alternator pulley it is much smoother when starting and stopping.

I ordered a Pressure Control Valve (PCV) today from Merlin Diesel and it is a genuine VDO part Made in Germany. So it should be of good quality. Part number A2C59506225.
When I have replaced it I will post the result. Fingers crossed.

The Pressure Control Valve (PCV) has been replaced and it didn't help.
The judder is still present at 1500 RPM. And now, after replacing the PCV it has started happening at 1800 RPM as well. So it has become worse. It feels like it is all over the place. Particularly when the engine load is light, for example driving steadily on a flat road.
Not sure where to go next. Any input to help solve this mystery is much appreciated.

Maybe it is a bad engine mount?
