EEEeeeerrrr..................blimey, thanks gang, that'll teach me for asking! the mechanic is servicing it next week, so I'll tell him.To be honest, having an old car is becoming more of a problem............mechanical bits can be swapped, but old electrics create unsolvable problems..............imagine having something like an old ferrari, all their electronics and ECU's etc it'll cost more than a new one to trace faults!

That's because we're in the old but not old car area. My 924 has just the right amount of electrical crap, electric windows and sunroof and the ignition system :)
