Hi,

Just had to get 2 new tyres on my D8 estate, the camber is off and had completely worn away the inside shoulder of my 2 rear tyres. The garage I was at couldn't see anything wrong with the suspension and said I need to take it to a specialist alignment centre. I'm throwing this out to you guys' collective knowledge of the 406 to see if you know of any other reason for it being off, also, how much is alignment likely to cost?

Sorted now, the camber was out by 2 degrees on the rear wheels!!
Got a nice set of 2 Dunlop SP 4alls and the camber sorted all for £149, not a bad price at all really considering the tyres are around £54 each without fitting 8)

I remember paying £40 to get all 4 wheels alligned on my old 2.1TD, because the back wheels were wearing on the inside.

you should replace the tie rods then do the alignment, as these are what cause the alignment to go out in the first place
