hdi bottom radiator hose seal

trying to get a quick answer !!!!!
my guy at the garage is fitting a new radiator and bottom and top hose
He says he cannot get the bottom hose to seal , just pouring out !!!!
Is there a extra rubber seal in the entry or something ???? HELP !!!!!

There's meant to be an o-ring there,

thanks steve for the info,
apparently the new bottom hose came with a O-ring but still did not seal it so he had to use sealer to make it water tight ! , seems ok but will keep on eye on it for a while :) :frown:
I there any size variations over the years, mine is 2001 may 2.0 hdi 110

Nope, they're all the same (even the 2.2 saloon/estate)

Maybe the o-ring isn't up to the job :? I'm not sure what the 3,6 is, maybe the thickness of the o-ring?
