nissens radiator 63705A

Post by johntl »

Will not be long before need new rad as plastic cracked where bottom hose goes
I have seen some very cheap nissen radiators on e=bay, new old stock, my question is are all radiators for the 2.0 hdi 110 the same, mine is a 2001.
Are all the bottom hose fittings the same internal type, ca..... type?
The type on e-bay are nissen 63705A £20! are they a decent make , danish I think

It's a bit confusing (Hot climates, air conditioning, BVA/M) but it looks like they never changed across production, so if your car's a 2.0 110 manual with air con, no FAP and you don't live in the Sahara then if you get one for a 2.0 110 with air con, no FAP & made for Finland it'll be the same thing.

Wonder if D8's were different... Er yes they were.

cheers steve,
just wundered if there was any difference between pre 2001 and post 2001 as mine is on the borderline, may 2001 ,yes mine is 110 with just a cat and air-con .the bottom hose seems to be different to the ones advertised, it has a T in it 6 inch from the bottom.

It's what Service Box is telling me and it's probably correct.

I'm a bit befuddled here, you're looking at radiator hose pictures in an ad for a radiator, or you're looking for the hose too? That rad also fits an EW7J4, maybe that' what's in the pic. I don't think I can find the same thing on the bay, there's 1 for 20 quid but there's no rad hoses anywhere.

Nissens, while not Valeo, still have a fair name. I reckon for 20 quid it must be worth a punt, unless you have fears of it letting you down in the middle of nowhere (like it would me...)
