Engine bay is too hot

My 2.0 16v 406 had faulty stepper motor and TPS. I replaced the stepper with new Magneti Marelli one but didn't change the TPS. I notice that after about 30 minutes of driving engine bay is too hot. If I keep my hands on TPS and stepper for few minutes my fingers will be burnt. I want to know if the high temperature causing TPS and stepper problems? car temp gauge reads 90C. Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english.
