Hi, 406 110 2001, car fires once then just turns over, try again just turns over, wait 1/2 hour car fires once just turns over. code reader says po308 glow plug heater circuit A, I have put in new glow plugs relay puts power to the glow plugs on the key but still the same, anyone got any ideas please.
If it doesn't fit you need a bigger hammer

Sadly the glow plug error is common but it means little, plus they don't actually do much above freezing.

Lift pump running?

I can here the pump when I turn on the ignition,
If it doesn't fit you need a bigger hammer

That's about the limit of my knowledge I'm afraid :( Needs some proper diagnostics with PP I reckon.

Sounds like a fuel line pressure problem, first thing to check is the fuel filter if it hasn't been changed lately. The pressure regulator on the back of the HP pump can give all sorts of problems but as Steve says a PP200 session may give you a stored fault or fuel pressure when cranking.

Anybody out there with pp2000 near chorley Lancashire.
