Core plug failure :-(

Hi folks, ok, two years after skimming the head from a failed gasket and now a core plug has rotted through and left me stranded! :-(

I am planning to do the job myself (garage where it is currently residing wants 450 as it is inaccessable) but from last time I did not work out a way of removing the manifolds and turbo seperately from the head, and so it all had to come off in one go!!!

I cant face removing the head again so has anyone any tips, aside from lifting the engine maybe??

Seems that whatever choice I make it is gonna be a big job!!
