Would you Adam and Eve it ?

Post by Waxman »

errm ok.

Fitted new HP pump a few weeks back, also had a modified fuel lift fitted and flushed lines, new filters etc. - Been very frugal and good/better mpg since.

Fill her up today and this is the 'projected' fuel range :)

Ok so it may not make that but either way it makes you feel good. - Not bad for a 250k 15 year old.

Hey, haven't seen you for a while. Hope you're well. Still very happy with the 'fortify' wax :)

And yes, I would believe it! Although the best I ever managed on a tank was 915.

My best was 620 from my old 90 - it may have been higher but my bum was clenching as the fuel light had been on for 40 miles.....
The 2.2 does 600, just....

Good to hear from you again.

Yes I believe it, I saw a projected range of 1070 of thereabouts on first 2.2 but it was not long after a fill up and after 40 miles of following a certain 1.9TD with a blocked fuel filter. I've had 800 out of a tank on this one, but then I'm known for trickling along with a queue of traffic behind me. :supafrisk:
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Here we go: 790 done and estimated range 117.
That tank went to 807 and the brim-to-brim came out at 74.27mpg.
Sold it 2000 miles later
