Hi guys & gals,
Hope you can help with a strange issue with the pug. Had a new luk clutch kit fitted around 15k ago been fine up till recently. Noticed a few days ago when cruising with clutch engaged if I slightly depress the pedal speed picks up and seems to get better drive. Is this normal behaviour or if not do you have any suggestions on how to diagnose if there's a problem in the system somewhere?
cheers

You must have an Hdi90..!!

As Ben says, its to aid a smoother gear change. If you were to unplug the brown switch above the clutch pedal, you will have increased performance but a bit spluttery when changing gear on a cold engine, but you get used to the slightly less refined-ability-ness. I unplugged mine and never looked back... :cheesy:

If you have cruise control, then please don't touch the switch....!!!

This is unrelated to the new clutch, by the way.

Thanks both for taking the time to respond. As you suggested I've disconnected the switch this afternoon and problems solved! Cheers for the help!
