2001 HDI 110 - DPF?

Can anyone tell me what year the DPF's came in for the HDI?
It's a 2001 on a Y, with the 110 engine.
I'm considering a re-map on it, I don't own it yet. I'm considering taking it on, it's a mint 406, with just 58k on the clock.

Hi there. Well, I guess it's either 1999 or, er, never. DPFs were fitted to all 2.2HDis but they seem to have been an option on 2.0s, we've come across one 90 with a DPF (which might have been some sort of test car) but never one on a 110. I can't say that it definitely won't have a DPF but it's unlikely. Best to check really.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I'll have a look underneath at some point.
If no DPF and being 110, it looks straight forward (from a little Googling) you can re-map them to 145bhp?

No worries, I just happened to be about.
I don't know about straight forward, it's not as simple as turning up the fuel screw on an XUD... Tbh I'm not up to speed on remaps but, as far as I know, you can either get a generic map which may or may not screw up your car, or get a map made for it which, while a bit more expensive, shouldn't give you any problems.
