Compatable Gearbox 406 TD

Need to replace the gearbox on my 1997 406 1.9 TD, was wondering which gearboxes from other models fit.......thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there. I'm afraid it's going to have to be another 1.9td, the ratios would be all wrong from a petrol and the 2.1td and HDi gearboxes are a different type.

What about a 306? Or a ZX? Something like that...
