a can of sprite in the fuel tank ! :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

Sorry I meant REDBULL.... to give it wings ! :D

Seriously though, just using Shell Optimax will make a small improvement.... how about an empty NOS kit from eBay, then you can fill it up with your own gas..... methane or just pop to your local BOC and get it refilled with NO2 ! !

How about an induction kit and maybe a performance exhaust?.. Which brings me to also ask the question:

Is the K & N factory fitment filter any good? has anyone got it?

I've seen them for around £40.. I've been uming and aahring for ages on if they are worth it.

The KnN is very good direct replacement filter... its thinner yet its filtration is better than the stock toilet roll in use ! So it has grater flow properties, my bro put one in his Vauxhall and drilled a few holes in the bottom of the air box and it breathed a whole lot better.... for £40 you can't go wrong! Just dont expect miracles ! :D

what engines in your d8 mate i have 2L
and thats fairly quick to start with why
go messing around with a perfectly good
engine they have lots of grunt + if you
do mod the engine and don't tell your insurance
and crash your insurance will not cover any repairs
mind you if you do tell them your insurance
will go up. so my recomendation is go faster stripes

A.
Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous!

Cost effective, only there on demand, maintains normal drivability, max edge for min wedge, and can be unbolted and glued to your next car.

Job done.

Yeah my engines only a 1.8 16v. Have thought about induction kit and exhaust. How much of a differance would your bits make James?
