help please with 406 sri turbo boost probs

bought a 406 sri turbo 1996
when it is ment to come on boost it just shuts down so really im driving it with no boost its hesitates baddly from 2k upto 4k.
is there any common probs with these?

No doubt the guy that buys it will join and fix it himself or ask the question at least!
I do think that searching the forum usually provides you with the answer quite quickly, just choose your keywords very carefully !
