Hi All,

I'm max from Thailand.

Currently, I have the 406 2.0 saloon (D8) with 6 M/T from GTi-6 and also 306 Gti-6 Phase 2.5.

My question is can BE 3/6 gearbox from 306 GTi-6 match with the ES9J4 ?

Due to from the specification I saw 4HP20 also equipped with 2.0 L & ES9J4

Have anyone alredy try?

Hello Max and welcome to the forum.

I don't think anyone will know the answer to this, but I think it's very unlikely any BE3 series gearbox would have the torque capacity necessary for a V6.

My car has an ML6C gearbox from a Citroen C5 - this can handle the torque, but I don't know if you can get one with suitable ratios for a petrol engine.
