Cam belt change questions

Hello all. My 1998 406 GLX (2.0l 16v 'S' reg) had the cam belt changed at 80,000 back in Nov 2007. Just passed the 140,000 mark (140,350 to be exact!) and am thinking perhaps it is time for the cambelt to be done again? Am I being a bit 'premature' with this or better to err on the side of caution?
I was led to believe the recommended interval is every 70,000 but would appreciate confirmation if anyone can.
I got an estimate today and the garage mentioned my model may need a special water pump (?) I looked back to the invoice from the first change, back in 2007, and the pump then was around £40. Estimate shows one water pump around this price and the special (if required) at £93. Am reckoning the 'normal' was fitted last time (given the price) but does anyone know about the special one ie which model it is for?

Many thanks for all help received!

I would say the belt needs changed, Mileage intervals vary from about 70 to 96k, depending on who / where you ask, but I understand they should be changed at 5 year intervals regardless of mileage.

Don't know on the pump, but it a special pump sounds unnecessary. There is no absolute requirement to change the pump, but some believe it's prudent in view of the likely need to change the belt kit again, in the event of a pump failure.
