Just been taking out the engine on my 1.9td 1998. Had an absolute pig of a job getting the top engine mount off. anyone an ideas on how to make this easier? Its the one that from bulkhead to radiator goes like this. 3 bolts into side of car, 1 bush with i bolt then the engine mount then a bracket stretching across the enine secured on three long studs into the engine, all made of alloy. This was so difficult to get off as its impossible to get at the bolts at the back and even if you can the main engine mount and the bush wont come out as they clash with the body. has anyone got a tip for this.
