Hi All
Was thinking of changing my coolant from green to pink but wondered if there was any risk if i made the mixture too strong i.e too much antifreeze/coolant and not enough water i read once that too much antifreeze/coolant can actually freeze but surely that cant be the case.

what would happen if you made it stronger ie 80/20 i only ask as sometimes its difficult trying to gauge how much you have put in

Easiest thing to do is drain the system and refill with a pre-mixed solution.
Not exactly sure what the capacity of the coolant system will be but if you measure what comes out and mix that amount plus 1/2 a litre for spillage you wont be far off the mark.

Every car I've seen has at least 50 gallons of coolant. That's how much it pisses all over my trainers. More when I've done it accidentally...

mixing 80/20 would give a lower temp freezing point for the coolant and give up sum summer cooling properties
