perhaps the differnce is, within the lucas and the bosch,
if you look at the ones for Xantias they look the same as 2.1s and there a 1.9 xud lump.

The 1.9 and 2.1 are the same engine Pretty much but I been told there are shims in the injector an the 2.1 has more coz of the fuel pressure is more how true that is I don't no I need to try get the part number for the injector and see if it matches its only the one injector I need the needle sensor has gone witch I been told causes it to do wat it does

I believe the break pressures are different between the two.

Didn't think the 1.9 come with Lucas unless On 306 I got a bosch pump and injectors off my 19

did you keep everything including pipes off the 1.9
if you have why not just swap everything over, ?
youd obviously have to buy a cam belt kit tho,

I wouldn't bother running cooking oil rather just put diesel in I'll look in to Bosch pump conversion if I can the injector

You can't just put a 406 1.9TD pump on a 2.1.
You would need the 1.9's engine bay loom + ECU along with the chips out of the keys.
You would be fine with a non ecu controlled pump out of a 306 1.9 though.
Or the simpler option, just find a 306 1.9TD with a lucas pump and get an injector off that.
