2.2 H'P'i AntiPollution Fault +

Post by GTXJez »

Hi All
Having issues with the random 'Anti Pollution Fault' warning and EML on.
I cannot get the codes read as the is no power to the OBD (getting it looked at next week)

I have had a full service since the problem occured including:
Engine Oil and Filter
Air Filter
New Plugs (£52 Ouch!)
Fuel Filter

BUT... I now have a misfire usually about 2,000-2,500 rpm on a light throttle, (more like cutting out or a hesitation or fuel cut off) AND its started stalling occasionally which it has never done before?
Misfire goes when you apply full throttle.

Also, if I rev the engine to 4,000 hold it for a few seconds then release, the 'AntiPollution Warning' pings again, it doesn't do it below 4,000 though?

The car has had replaced prior to me owning it:
Valve Solenoid
High pressure Fuel Pump
Oxygen Sensor
Various Engine Bay Sensores and wiring?
I think the EGR was relpaced also as it looks new, but have no record in the service records.

Any advice appreciated, but feel sure it must relate to the fuel/ingintion system in someway :?

Bejesus! the last owner got taken to the cleaners there

You need to speak to DaiRees on here, he's had the same problem but I can't quite remember what it was in the end, try searching his posts, I've altered the thread title to provoke some attention too.
