D8 exhaust fixing Kit

Had to buy a new fixing kit as the old one gave way and left the exhaust hanging by the rubbers.
The replacement consists of 2 bolts with collets, springs, washers and nuts. My question is should there be a gasket between the exhaust and the manifold or do they just pull up together?

Unfortunately there was nothing left of the old fixings to compare

The offending bottom engine mount has now been chaged

you need to get an o-ring that sits over the flange,it looks like compresed wire wool
