Paper weight?

Lots of questions.

Brand?
Profile?
Cost?

:cheesy:

Are you fitting them yourself? or getting someone else to?
I know the guys at Jamsport near Sixfields like fitting this sort of stuff ;)

Thanks

Might be a small compatibility issue there geordie!

Yeah it drops striaght in, its the only XU cam for the turbo engine apparently as the valve clearances are just bout right. Gonna get it fitted next month, that or I might have a bash myself seeing as I have spare parts if anything goes wrong!

Good idea mate, I have been advised several times to upgrade to a 205 GTi cam when I get my valves sorted. I thought, though, that uprating your cam could cause rough idling? Or is that only when you take a step up to aftermarket performance cams?

The duration difference is something tiny so the ECU will adjust automatically.

Don;t forget changing the cam means checking and replacing all the shims, As there not hydraic like the 16v's,
But has anyone got hard proof this works, As I;ve got a turbo engine needing some more HP

Good luck fitting it..... lol

YOu have to fabricate your own bracket, and you will also note that the rod is slightly shorter than the pug unit, so you will need a custom end making up thats long enough !

Nice one on the cam though, and you should fit it yourself, you could do it in about 3 hours :D
