hi everyone, im having difficulty changing my pump so im asking for advice because i dont know entirely what im doing  . basically my old lucas pump is fudged, ive got it off and i have a bosch one ready to go on. ive got the injectors coming but i dont have the lines. ive heard its possible to use the old ones so maybe i shall try that and manipulate them?

things which are botherng me atm are - what order the fuel lines come out of the pump to the injectors and if its the same as the lucas pump?
- the timing up of the pump sprocket in relation to the crank+cam.
- electrics, ive no idea?? the bosch pump has a 3 prong plug identical to the lucas, is that fine to connect straight up? the lucas also has another plug which the bosch doesnt...fuel cut off imobliser?? leave it unconnected?

ahh all this for running on veg oil. is it worth it? can anybody help me out pleaseee!!

haha oops oh yer that may help  , its a 98 306 dturbo 3dr, it has the 1.9 xud engine. was working on it last night and ive fitted the new pump. ive used the old lines and managed to re-shape them without kinking them and just missing the intercooler. so now i think the firing order is right? i hope so     :) :( hmmm maybe  ...not

is there anything else i should be looking out for? ahh it has a boost pipe? i think on top of the pump, im not too sure where that goes, is it the intercooler? and the original 3 pin plug had just plugged straight in in this new pump. appologies about the smilies...i got carried away

It's this poxy anti-spam measure where you've got to post and be approved twice - I know it's a pain but we had some serious issues a while back.
