You sure you have that number right? It just says "vehicle unknown" when I try it.
Lower ear off-side? I thought there was only 3, one each side and one at the back near the eggsauce

Is this the one which requires driveshaft removal to fit? Ive gotta do the same one on my saloon, and i am dreading it.
Im sure it can be done with the mount still on the car, with the help of a blow torch and some grease.

I am sure it can be done too, but I spent a day bashing the old one out and another day bashing the new one in. The new one got stuck 5mm in and wouldn't move. Had the car towed to the garage and get them to do it for £100 quid.
Never again..................

Once the driveshaft is out, remove the mounting block from the back of the engine (4bolts)plus the rear bolt, then take it to a local garage that has a press and get them to press the old out and the new in... 10 minute job with a press.
A local engineers that does engine rebuilds would do it as well.

Ya ill be bringing it to the uncle. Dont think im nearly experienced enough for that kind of a job yet. Especially since I dont have the proper tools.
Might get him to once and for all plug that oil leak thats driving me nuts! Parents got a brand new driveway and i have to park out on the road. I reckon its coming from the gearbox cos its so low down where all the residue is.
