Hi to all,
I'm not sure if anyone is interested but my father in law has his own business. He can remap ecu's.
The website is
http://www.southwestremap.co.uk.
The hdi engines can be remapped quite easy. The turbo diesel engines will need a chip, even the NA/turbo petrol engines can benifit from it.
More power, torque and fuel economy
If anyone is interested let me know or call Paul Harding on
07851159016.
He's got the proper kit and all work is garanteed. Price is £199 BUT! There is discount avaliable for fellow 406 owners club members so I'd say it's around the £170 mark. Just quote that you are a member of the 406 owners club.
Thankyou for Reading.
Will

I would be temped to be honest.
But my car has done 130k miles now and the clutch bites pretty high as it is so I would wanna go dumped an extra 50-60nm torques and 15-20hp through it just yet?

Hasn't done it yet. Mine needs a chip so will need to remove the ecu.
But need my car for work.
Power increase is about 10-12bhp, so my car is 110bhp it puts
it to 120bhp. I will be gettin it done but wanna get the cambelt done
first.

A suppose a dyno test before and after, I have read elsewhere that without going mad 140BHP is possible.

I've heard that too, my father in law said I could get
between 130-140bhp which I thought was incredible.
Need to sort out the cambelt and find out why my car
puffs out smoke on acceleration.
Remapping is next on list now I've done my de-badge
grille.

Apparently 180BHP is possible from the 2.1 lump, but i wouldn't like to guess how long it would last.

Id love a remap at that price.
But Bristol is just too far from Newcastle.
