I treated mine to new plugs and air filter over the weekend when I did the bottom rad hose, £20 from halfrauds!!!

i may be a new member (ie under 100 posts :D ) but i too do my own services (and for my mates cutting the labor prices down)

so saving cash would be class
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

Hmmm, I spoke to the one person who still works in Halfords from when I used to work there and he tells me that they're getting a bit more choosy about who they hand the trade cards out to. They're only allowed to give them to people who can prove that they're professional mechanics now.

They didn't have any BTW, but they're coming in on Tuesday and he's keeping me one :P 8)

i too service my own but usually get filters from ebay and other parts from gsf or buypartsbuy.com as there pretty cheap.
