Hi
The handbrake has seized on my 03 406, which was parked for month, any ideas how to resolve it. I didnt try anything this morning as i was running late for work was going to drive it in. if i get moving it what damage would it cause the brake drum? or will it rectify itself, is it a big job to fix?

Re: Seized handbrake
If you want to play it safe take the wheels off and give the centre of the discs a belt. Otherwise rock the car back and forth in gear; that'll free them off! It's basically the friction material stuck to the inside of the drum.
