2.0 Cat

Post by Pob »

Hi all,

My cat has just decided to fall to bits and make an annoying rattling noise :( Would a cat from a 2.0 turbo fit a 2.0 16v?

Thanks,
Dan

The cat's are different... the angle on the joint to the manifold differs between the two

Do you have a turbo or a 16v?

I ask because I've got a cat knocking around for the turbo which I could do with shifting, only done around 3000miles before I put a powerflow stainless system on it.

I tried to fit a turbo cat to a 16v, but the angle wasnt right to fit a 16v. The reason I was replacing the cat was because it was rattling alot... when I removed the cat there is a bit of metal that was rattling inside the neck of the cat (The bit that bolts to the manifold) I pulled it off and it's fine now :)

Thanks,
Dan
